A joint venture with Leo Lithium and Ganfeng, the Goulamina Lithium Project in Mali is West Africa’s first spodumene producer to supply the booming lithium-ion battery industry.

Goulamina Lithium Project
The Goulamina Lithium Project (Goulamina) is a spodumene project with development underway, located 50km west of Bougouni in Mali with all approvals and key permits received to bring the project into production.
An updated Definitive Feasibility study (DFS) was completed in December 2021.
High quality concentrate has been validated by test work, including production of concentrate grade of 6% Li2O, and low mica. Goulamina concentrate has all the preferable characteristics for battery applications.
Community Initiatives
Lithium Du Mali SA (LMSA) is committed to the development of communities closest to our project, the Bougouni region more broadly and the country of Mali in general.
The company is working and engaging with government authorities at the commune, regional and federal level on its community development initiatives. The improvements made to socio-economic indicators within nearby communities will be measured and tracked as part of the company’s social license to operate and we will be reporting on our progress to all relevant stakeholders, particularly the Malian government, with regards these endeavors.
